Tim Ferriss – 4-hour work week
I love Tim Ferriss, the man is a genius and a true innovator in my eyes. The 4-hour work week is his first book and has been hugely successful at helping me deconstruct problems, improving efficiency and changing my perspective on possibilities in life. This book came to me at a crossroads in my life and was of great help to shape my future.
Steve Peters – The Chimp Paradox, the mind management programme for confidence, success and happiness
This book was recommended to me by a work colleague and at first when I saw the title of this publication, I thought it was going to be another of those hoodwink type self – help manuals. I’m still reading this book as I type this and so far I’ve been impressed, the simplified logic that is used to teach readers how to manage their mind is very useful.
Marcus Aurelius – Meditations
Many years ago you wouldn’t have caught me even thinking about reading a work of philosophy. But I’m so glad that I came across this gem, it had been recommended by the awesome Tim Ferriss on his podcast many times, but I always put off taking the plunge of purchasing until recently. Essentially it’s the personal journal of the great Roman emperor Marcus Aurelius, it conveys his thoughts on his own life – the good and the bad. It’s a great reference point and provides some great advice, which is even more noteworthy and vital for people today.
