Focus on your financial health in 2022

👋 Hey folks, firstly, Happy New Year! I hope you were able to enjoy whatever you chose to do over this festive period.

As we enter a new year, it’s common for people to set goals (or what are commonly called resolutions, but I hate that term!) to work towards over the next 12 months.

This is great, but I would encourage you to think beyond the stereotypical goals of losing weight or going to gym more often. I mean, for sure do these but look beyond these too.

Particularly when it comes to your financial health.

And what do I mean by your financial health? Quite simply, how well placed you are with finances in your current stage of life and the level of financial education you have to make better decisions with your money.

In the issue just before the festive break, I wrote about the misconception of wealth. It was here we explored that being wealthy is perhaps not as out of reach as you might think today.

Good financial health in our lives gives us options, and options can lead to micro and macro levels of freedom.

So, in your moments of goal setting, consider how investing in your financial health can allow you to create more of those options and levels of freedom.

Doing this could well be the catalyst that allows you to build the environment to achieve other goals you have in mind.

To help with this, I’ve curated a bunch of resources below to get you thinking about your own financial health.
